Today we’d like to give you all a brief overview of 3. C - Centurion and 22. V - Vanquisher, the two new rulers included in Booster Set Vol. 4: Become the Hero.

3. C - Centurion

Maximum factions for units: Unlimited

Maximum factions for cards other than units: 1

Unit attribute requirement: Choose 1 attribute of your choice. All unit cards in your deck must have the chosen attribute. (If a unit card does not have the attribute you chose, you cannot put it into your deck.)

This is a new handless ruler with no resources, similar to 1.A - Apprentice, but it has a distinct deck construction requirement as its defining feature. To make a deck using this ruler, you must choose 1 attribute. You can put any unit card of any faction into your deck, so as long as it has the chosen attribute (and conversely, any unit cards without the chosen attribute cannot be in the deck, regardless of its faction).

Depending on the attribute, this gives you a much larger selection of units across many factions to work with, unlocking new synergies and giving you more mileage out of cards that boost specific attributes.

On the other hand, you can only choose 1 faction to pick any non-unit cards from for your deck. Hence, you must carefully consider which single faction will provide the best support for the attribute you are building around.

Deck Construction:

Deck size: 50

Maximum factions for units: Unlimited

Maximum factions for cards other than units: 1

Unit attribute requirement: Choose 1 attribute of your choice. All unit cards in your deck must have the chosen attribute. (If a unit card does not have the attribute you chose, you cannot put it into your deck.)

Non-unit attribute requirement: None

Maximum copies of a card: 4

Legendary card cap: 2

Deck level cap: 50

CNT cap: 16

Zones: Attack zone: 2, Defense zone: 1, Set zone: 3. You have no hand zone.

Setup: None.

Start of Turn: Drive 2. Summon cap is unlimited.

In-Game Ability: As you play a card, you do not spend any resources to pay for the cost of the card as determined by its level (14-3b-6a).

22. V- Vanquisher

Maximum factions for units: Unlimited

Maximum factions for cards other than units: 1

Unit attribute requirement: Choose 1 attribute of your choice. All unit cards in your deck must have the chosen attribute. (If a unit card does not have the attribute you chose, you cannot put it into your deck.)

This is a new hand-based ruler with resources, similar to 11.K - Knight, but it has a distinct deck construction requirement as its defining feature. Like the Centurion, to make a deck using this ruler, you must choose 1 attribute. You can put any unit card of any faction into your deck, so as long as it has the chosen attribute (and conversely, any unit cards without the chosen attribute cannot be in the deck regardless of its faction).

The Vanquisher has no deck level cap, but since it uses the same resource mechanic as a 11.K - Knight, you still have to be wary of the levels of your cards, perhaps even more so than with the Centurion. Even veteran deck builders should find that creating a Vanquisher deck is a fresh and challenging experience!

Prepare 3 resource cards in addition to your deck.

Zones: Attack zone: 2, Defense zone: 1, Set zone: 3

Setup: Put 3 resource cards into your resource zone in a ready state. Draw 4 cards.

Start of Turn: Ready 2 resources in your resource zone. Draw 2 cards. Your summon cap is 2.

In-Game Ability: None.
